The project focuses on stripping the space of visually disruptive elements, allowing the clarity and expressive power of the Brutalist structure to fully emerge. The newly designed reception and buffet counters become the dominant interior features, materially unified through perforated concrete elements.
The renovation also seeks to restore the original marble flooring as a significant part of the interior’s material heritage. The acoustic qualities of the space are enhanced by the introduction of linear suspended acoustic elements.
